NOTE!

Sadly, I have never had the opportunity to participate in a Secret Santa before OR have anything to do with taxidermy. :C I've been interested for years, but since I live in California, collecting makes this kind of difficult. There's also a lack of animals where I live unless it's your local pigeon or neighborhood pet and since I'm not about to go Mrs. Lovett on my neighbors' animals... You know.

Since I have no animal parts to give, I am more than happy to crochet, draw (traditionally and/or digitally) something for you, or even send some homemade recipes I created (such as Mocha Hazelnut Fudge Cookies w/ White Chocolate Chips, stuffed chicken, pork roast, pumpkin pie, apple pie, coffee mixes...). I also like to buy small things for my friends so I have no problem buying something I think would interest you and sending that as well. C:

Rules

:bulletred:Post up a journal with 10-15 things you'd like for Christmas.:bulletred:
:bulletred:Feature other people at the bottom of your journal.:bulletred:
:bulletred:Make sure to try and send other people gifts, even just sending card is nice!:bulletred:
:bulletred:Asking for non-taxidermy items is fine, but if you don't want any this might be the wrong SS for you.:bulletred:
:bulletred:Please include your address on the journal or a way for people to contact you to get your address to send the gift.:bulletred:
:bulletred:Include the rules in your journal.:bulletred:

Taxidermy Related Requests

1: Any type of rabbit pelt, skulls, feet, whatever else comes from a rabbit that can be used for crafting

2: Deer skull (with antlers attached is perfectly fine and will be happily accepted!), antlers, pelt, feet, legs (the anatomy must be studied!)

3: Domestic stock such as cows, goats, sheep: skulls, horns, skulls with horns, skins with hair-on (especially sheep skin since I want to make a pillow :D)

4: Any sort of fox pelt will be happily accepted. C: I'd also like skulls and teeth, too!

5: Coyote pelts, skulls, or teeth

6: Game birds and farm fowl wings, feathers, skulls

7: Anything that the state of California won't lose it's temper over and come busting through my door, lol.

Non-Taxidermy Related Requests

1: Handmade anythings! I love crochet and knit items! Draw me something, paint me something, make me some size 0 ear plugs ("gauges"), send me a plushie, etc. C:

2: Vintage items like... Oooold books that you can find in an antique store or something (I don't have much access to any out where I live), vintage fabrics, stop watch, dresser drawer knobs (for a project I want to do), anything really. C: It doesn't have to be actual vintage since I understand that those can be quite costly, so anything that looks vintage is fine.

3: Art supplies of any kind!

4: Something macabre (zombie art, skull drawings, etc. The darker the better! ;D)

5: PILLOWS! I LOVE PILLOWS! THEMED PILLOWS! SHAPED PILLOWS! ANY KIND OF PILLOW!:heart:

6: Something unique to your town, country, culture, etc. I'm a mutt (so many cultures and ethnic backgrounds in my family tree it's ridiculous!) so I'd love to learn about everyone else, too! This includes foods, postcards, letters (you're unique to your town so this counts!), etc!

7: A pretty drawing/painting/watercolor/etc. of animal skulls, human skulls, etc. with or without a background C: something surreal

8: Surprise me!!! If you want to get to know more about what I might be interested in, don't be shy! Ask. Even if you end up not sending anything, I'd love to get to know you!

My Address

Please note me for my address. You don't have to tell me what you'll be sending me (I don't want the surprise to be ruined!), but I don't want my address here for just anyone. >.>

My state-specific and moral-specific rules

Bullet; GreenNo domestic dog or cat parts. That's just scary and I'd traumatize my parents and pets, lol.
Bullet; GreenNo birds protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act
Bullet; GreenNo animals that are currently endangered- even if they have paperwork from before endangerment.
Bullet; GreenNothing that originated in China.
Bullet; GreenNo marine mammals.
Bullet; GreenNo furs/bones/etc. that you cannot identify.
Bullet; GreenI'm not sure about shed antlers, but just to be safe, I would prefer if they were from a kill.
:bulletgreen:Since I live in California, no: Morro Bay kangaroo rat, Bighorn Sheep EXCEPT FOR NELSON BIGHORN SHEEP, ring-tailed cat, salt-marsh harvest mouse, Southern sea otter, or wolverine.
:bulletgreen:I have no intention to sell or give away anything I receive, but these are the animals/parts that my state prohibits if I ever DO intend to give it away: polar bear, leopard, ocelot, tiger, cheetah, jaguar, sable antelope, wolf, zebra, whale, cobra, python, sea turtle, colobus monkey, kangaroo, vicuna, sea otter, free-roaming feral horse, dolphin/porpoise, Spanish lynx, elephant, or black bear. Bobcat pelts HAVE TO HAVE PROPER TAGS. Sigh.
:bulletgreen:GAME BIRDS AND FARM FOWL ONLY PLEASE. C:
:bulletgreen:For any pelts that come from cows, rabbits, goats, sheep, or any other animal that is considered domestic/sold for meat, skins, etc., pretty please only use those. I just want to be safe is all.
